When the strike of the multiplex owners ended, it was flurry of the movies that hit the market. And this would have been a sad thing if we would not have a hilarious movie. The fact is that Bollywood has never disappointed us in any away. So director Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dk came up with their new movie “99”. A nice blend of new age and old age actors has given new colors to the movie. Although the comedy is not that hilarious, but the acting skills of the actors has proven to be good for the movie.

Sachin(Kunal Khemu) and Zaramud(Cyrus Broacha) are two crooks who happens to duplicate SIM cards in Mumbai while the city was under the blaze of new connectivity of mobiles in 1999. But going on in this direction they were on the verge of being busted. They just flew from the incident-site stealing a Mercedes. But to their dismay the Mers happens to be the property of a ruthless Don cum bookie AGM(Mahesh Manjarekar). He finds out the story and send them to retrieve the money from Rahul Vidyrathi(Boman Irani) who is a compulsive better. To recover 20 lacks from this guy, they went to Delhi where Sachin meets with Pooja(Soha) and found love of life in her. The finally get to recover the amount. But to add to their problems the money got stolen in the airport. So they were left with onlu one option to bet in the match between Indian and South Africa which was also a fixed match. How they finally get out the problem is the climax of the movie.

The music of the movie is decent one with a nice mix of new and some old age music. All the cast and crew seemed to have put their heartiest effort to make the movie a success and that might turn the fortune of the movie.
