Double Dhamaal is a forthcoming hindi comedy film originally titles as Dhamaal 2. It is a sequel to film Dhamaal released in 2007 and directed by Indra Kumar. Most of the actors are just same as in the previous one and the new additions include Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat.
The first look of the film was launched on May 18, 2011 along with the title track and the first theatrical trailer was unveiled on May 19, 2011. The film will be soon released on June 24, 2011.
Arshad Warsi will be playing the role of Ghanta Singh, a sikh man and Jaaved Jafri will accompany him by playing the role of his younger brother. Ritesh deshmush will be seen in many roles like ‘roy’ just like what he played in the prequel Dhamaal and the two new roles have been assigned to him in this sequel. First one would be of Heera Bhai, a Mauritius gangster and that will be followed by the role of ‘lee’ a Chinese detective. Ashish choudhary will be playing the role of flirtatious women who tries to seduce Sanjay dutt.
Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of a Police inspector named ‘Kabir Nayak’. He is a transformed policeman from chasing criminals towards chasing money. He has given up the duty of a true policeman and now he only concentrates on making money. Along the way he has made a lot like an adorable and sexy wife, a huge villa along with a fantastic Mercedes. And now he is about to play the most risky games of his life.
Ritesh Deshmukh as ‘roy’ fancies himself to be the world’s most talented actor which obviously he is not. No matter what he chooses to do from Chinese detective to a gangster he is kicked on back from every place. So, he is a hopeless character who has yet not lost the hope.
Arshad Warsi as ‘Adi’ is playing the role of a master brain among really shallow people having birdbrain. He makes a lot of plans of making easy money which sounds completely soundproof but once they are executed they are going to be really fun to watch. It would be quite interesting to see how he makes a fool out of himself.
Jaaved Jafri as ‘Manav’ is playing the role of Adi’s younger brother who is really adorable and have a sunny smile. He is trustworthy but has zero IQ. He has this extra quality of saying wrong things at wrong times to wrong people and ultimately creating problem for himself and everybody around him.
Ashish Chowdhary as ‘Boman’ is playing the role of man involved in quest for some easy money. He can go to any lengths to grab some money even if it means dressing up like a girl and seducing Sanjay dutt. Also, he get smooched by a horny Gorilla in his crazy quest for easy money.
Kangana Ranaut as ‘Kiya’ is playing the role of pretty and sweet little sister of Kabir. She knows everything what her brother is up and is part of it too.
Mallika Sherawat as ‘Kamini’ is playing the role of bar dancer turned wife. She has a really sharp mind and can foresee troubles before they appear.
