It shows the reality of today’s educational institutes and their management. It puts into limelight the insensitive behaviour of teachers,heavy donations that are being taken by the institutes,higher education fees, exploitation of students etc.
“Teaching” used to be a very noble profession in older days,but nowdays its losing its true meaning.
Starring “Shahid Kapoor” , Nana Patekar along with Ayesha Takia, Sushsant singh,Dwij yadav ,Ali Haji etc. and directed by Milind Ukey.
“Saraswati Vidya Mandir” school situated in Mumbai suburbs run by the “Aditya Sahai” played by Nana Patekar.
Shahid Kapoor acted as ” Rahul Prakash Udayvar” who joins Saraswati Vidya mandir, situated in Mumbai suburbs as an English and music teacher
.
He notices that something unusual is going on in the school.He came to know that the school trusties have imposed high fees in the form of development fees on the students, inorder to gain more funds.And to raise more funds they ask school Principal to increase the fees, and take necessary steps to improve school image.
To fulfil the management orders Aditya Sahai went for a reality TV show thinking that it will bring money and fame for the school.and hus kids were made to endure extra pressure of work,exploitation of students went on.
When Rahul realized all these mishappenings, he decided to go against it.He united other teachers,and leads the group against school policies.
His team included nutritionist cum matron Anjali(Ayesha Takia) etc. And soon this movement gets converted into a national issue.
Nana Patekar, was able to justify his role, where as Shahid and Ayesha were able to add some romantic moments.And music by Hanif Shaikh is really awsome.

A movie that describes “Love is a relationship that don’t follow any rituals,any borders, as its well said “Love is blind”.
“Kites’ is a love story of an Indian guy “J” and Spanish girl”Natasha” ,a story that takes these two lovers on a thrilling journey filled with memorable moments of their immense love and unexpected betrayal.
“J” is a salsa instructor played by “Hrithik Roshan”.He teaches Salsa in Las vegas,and falls in love with Natasha (character played by “Barbara Mori)a Spanish woman who came to him to learn Salsa. Though Natasha was engaged to another man , but that doesn’t changed J’s love for her. For J, Natasha was her life, he could bear any troubles for her.
This love story also passes by many ups and downs laid by destiny along with the truth that none of the two of them could understand or speak each other’s Language, but still could feel the love and feelings for each other.
“J” used to be a very clever and charming guy, but his circumstances changed him to a ‘wanted’ man, and he was left in the desert to die, but his thirst to search for the woman he loves kept him alive. His love and his desire to get her love gave him the power to fight with the burning desert.
The film had been shot in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Santa Fe, and has been directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan. Film’s music has already got a good response with “Zindgi Do Pal Ki” and ‘Dil Kyun Yeh Mera” getting place in the top songs.
“Kites’ is going to hit big screens on 21st May2010, so what’s going to happen , will Hrithik Roshan be again benefitted by his dad, will “Kites” is going to be another big hit of his career, wait and watch on 21st May 2010.
